Brewery Tours
Learn how we make our award-winning beers with a tour of our brewery and production process from start to finish!
Our tours start at our 3000L brewhouse where we will go through a brief history of Glen Affric Brewery and how a brewery with a Scottish name ended up in Birkenhead!
We will then go next door into our other unit where we house all our fermentation tanks and talk about what is considered the most imporant part of the process: fermentation.
We'll go across the street to our packaging unit where you will see our bright beer tanks and canning lines. There we will talk about how we can our beers.
Tours are limited to 10 people and are 18+ only. No high heels, open-toe shoes or sandals can be worn during the tour.
Tours start promptly at 1:30 pm - Please arrive & check-in with bar staff at least 15 mins before the tour starts. If you are late arriving after the tour has started, you will not be allowed on the tour.
Strictly no fancy dress, hens, stags, nuisance props, etc.
Tours typically last just over an hour & include two drinks vouchers to be enjoyed after the tour, redeemable for a 1/2 pint of any beer under 6.5% on tap in our on-site, 30 draft line taproom or a soft drink.
It's in our DNA to share as much as we possibly can about the process of making beer, and we do so with passion and dedication. So if you have any questions during the tour, you are encouraged to speak up and ask!
Terms & Conditions:
The safety of our guests and staff is our first priority. All participants must be over 18 years old, and appropriate clothing must be worn. On arrival, each party will be required to read and agree to our visitors waiver, the staff have the right to refuse entry onto the production site if a visitor/party are not fully compliant or have not completed the forms before the tour starts.
