Job Posting: Taproom Bar Staff
Glen Affric Brewery’s onsite Taproom is going through an exciting expansion phase and is looking for enthusiastic bar staff to join the team in both full time & part time role.
In this role you’ll be right at the forefront, delivering award winning craft beer to our amazing customers. You’ll be working closely with the Taproom Management Team to passionately deliver the best customer service possible on the bar and floor.
With 30 taps on the bar and 5 fridges full of canned beer, we have a wide variety of beer available, so a good knowledge of craft beer is highly desired, but not strictly required. If you think you’re lacking in an area of beer, don’t worry we can teach you! An enthusiasm to learn, grow your knowledge and to share that knowledge with our customers is all that’s required.
Experience working in a bar is highly useful but also not necessary as we can show you the ropes.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Serving customers in a professional, efficient & friendly manner
Helping customers make informed choices about which beers they may enjoy
Maintaining a clean and hygienic bar environment
Assisting with bar set up & clean down
Taproom opening hours are currently as below, however, with the taproom expansion plans are being made to be open on more days throughout the week:
Friday: 3 - 11pm
Saturday: 1 - 11pm
Sunday: 1 - 7pm
There is also the option to potentially pick up more hours in the week to assist with packaging runs, canning etc. if you are interested in that and available.
You will be paid between £9-£11 per hour depending on your experience. Other benefits include lots of beer tasters, and staff discounts on beer & merch.
If you are interested in joining us, please send your CV & a covering letter with some more details as to why you want to work at the Glen Affric Taproom & why you think you’d be suitable for the role to taproom@glenaffricbrewery.com Please entitle your email “Taproom Bar Staff”.
